Hunter Graduates from Preschool

I tried to hold back tears, but when the preschool teacher breaks down during the graduation ceremony and on the last day of class, it's impossible not to cry. Hunter was incredibly blessed to have the amazing Miss April as his teacher for the last two years.  We will miss the joy and creativity she brought to class everyday.  Even though it was hard to say goodbye, Hunter is so excited, and ready for Kindergarten.  I'm excited for the full day, but can't promise there won't be tears on the first day of school.

Getting Caught Up

It turns out that having three kids keeps a person very busy.  I use to think September was the busiest month with the start of school, now I think it's May.  Between Mother's Day, end of the year activities, a trip to Hawaii for a wedding, and, oh yeah, having a 2 month old at the time, I felt a little bit like a crazy person.  Thankfully, things are settling down.  The boys are doing "Summer Experience" which is essentially summer school every morning through the end of June and Holland is getting into a little routine (which includes sleeping from 8pm-4am on a consistent basis!!).  I want to catch my blog up with some pictures, but this may take a few days.  Stay tuned...

Grandma Visits

I timed the arrival of Holland with Grandma's spring break from work so she was able to meet Holland at just three days old!  Grandma's gift to all her grand children has been a handmade baby quilt.  Here is Holland enjoying her quilt.  It is going to be hard not seeing grandma again until July.

Nap Nanny

Aunt Coco sent baby Holland a "Nap Nanny", but I am not sure who likes it more...

Hiking Will Rogers

Doyl does a lot on the weekends to keep our very active boys busy.  Recently they started "hiking" an easy trail near our home at Will Rogers State Park.  Doyl brings the jogging stroller along because the hike is actually paved.  The boys take turns hiking and riding when their legs get tired.  Here are some pictures from the hike they did last weekend.

Xavier's New Bike

We promised Xavier a bike with training wheels when he learned how to peddle his tricycle.  It didn't take long for him to master the skill and daddy took him to the store to pick out his very own bike.  He was so proud and excited about his new bike.  He rode it none stop for two days straight. He still rides it all the time, but takes some breaks to eat and sleep.

She's Here!

Holland Catherine arrived Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 11:09am.  She was 7lbs. 4oz. and 19 1/2 inches.  I had a super easy induction - my water was broken at 8:45am and I was 10 centemeters at 10:45am.  3 pushes and she was here! Her big brothers were instantly in love, and her parents are obviously over the moon.  So far she is the perfect baby - she eats, sleeps, and poops.  We are enjoying every minute.
