Xavier is a talker. At 19 months he is speaking sentences, and they are so cute. When he wakes up in the morning, he often says to me, "I hungy mama". When I am changing his diapers or cleaning his hands he yells, "Stop tat, stop tat wight now!" If he wants anything, he says, "da geen one" which I don't completely understand, but at some point I must have asked him, "the green one?" and he now uses it for everything. The thing he just started saying out of the blue, which cracks me up is, "I'm cute."
Hunter also says some great stuff these days. The most frustrating is "stop punching me", which I will often hear if I "move his body" after I finish a 1-2-3 count. On the cuter side, everyday when I pick him up from school he gets in the car and says, "I didn't miss you today mom." I don't take it personally because really I am so excited he loves school! The best thing he said last week when I picked him up from Sunday school class was, "mom we learned about God, again!" It was awesome.
For my seven faithful blog followers, I know I've been a little delinquent with the posts. I will try to increase the frequency now that we are settling down into our new routine.
