Petting Zoo

We love that we live a 10 minute walk from the Brentwood Country Mart. Every Sunday they host a small petting zoo and pony rides. We are usually at church on Sunday mornings, but the kids both had runny noses today, so we went for a walk instead, and stopped at the Country Mart to pet the animals. This was Xavier's first experience actually petting the animals and he was in heaven - loudly baaing, and maaing along with the sheep and goats. Hunter really enjoyed feeding the animals. It was a great morning.

Spring and Easter Pictures

My new camera is apparently a little too sophisticated for Kodak Gallery. There are often pictures that won't upload, and if I edit them first on iPhoto they definitely don't upload. Any suggestions? Anyway, here is a link to the photos from Spring and Easter that did upload.

Pancakes and Wagon Rides

Grandma Debby came to visit for her spring break a few weeks ago. The kids had a wonderful time celebrating Easter with her and playing on the new swing set. One of Hunter's favorite activities is cooking, and he and Grandma always make pancakes from scratch together. Hunter loves getting out all the ingredients and is disappointed that mom makes pancakes from a box. (If you've had the Trader Joe's Buttermilk Pancake Mix, you understand my preference.) The boys also had fun going on wagon rides with Grandma. Hunter was so sad after we dropped Grandma Debby off at the airport, he insisted I drive immediately to visit GaGa and PaPa (Doyl's parents).

The New Swing Set

Grandma Debby came to visit this past week, and the Easter Bunny delivered a new swing set, complete with club house and rocket slide! Needless to say, to the boys have had a great week!

Picnic Table

Xavier loves sitting in any chair that is not his high chair or car seat. He especially loves climbing up Hunter's Stokke Trip Trap chair and just sitting. This picture is from a few weeks ago, and Xavier is delighted to be sitting and eating lunch with his big brother at the picnic table.
